Meeting with directors

This yearly rendezvous proposes a convivial and relaxed face to face with directors invited at the Festival. Fed by the audience’s questions, the meeting allows discovering various viewpoints on creation. It is an opportunity to get acquainted with the cineastes, their work and their approach. The activity is open to short film professionals, cinema lovers and students.

Frédéric Corbet is the presenter of Premières vues at VOX. Premières vues is the only TV program entirely dedicated to the short film and Québec cinema. Graduate from Université de Montréal in communication and journalism, Frédéric has been active in the media world for many years. His curiosity, passion for culture and polyvalence also lead him to work as research assistant on various projects such as Bons baisers de France (Radio-Canada) and Tout l’monde debout (RockDétente). He directs Joël Legendre and Marie-Élaine Proulx’s morning show on radio 107,3 RockDétente. Frédéric leads the Meeting with directors for the third year in a row.
